Why you need to get out of the car and over the barrier

:broad sweeping statement:

There is clearly something wrong with either the track or the yokels who use it.

Bit of both I think...

It doesn't seem to catch out the top drivers (often) but it's a really nasty corner.

You approach it from a fast straight and it's unsighted over a rise so lose most of your braking when you go over the top.

Done it a couple of times in a Westy thinking each time "I'm going to die"

I remember that cossie crash, he was supposed to have come in the lap before but didn't in a 'no, I will get past that Evo' type moment.

Whole car was mashed, shame as it was mint before hand. Another of the many cars lost to Quarry, which then get pushed out of the track before that insurance call 'You'll never believe what just happened to my car right outside Castle Coombe....'

You've gotta love Quarry corner - approach uphill at 140+......

Not in a Mini 1000 running drums all round & remoulds :rlol:

Got some good cheers from the spectators managing 4 wheel drifts around it though (thanks to the crappy remoulds) :D
