engine warning light

since my active spoiler has been removed the engine warning light is on and the active spoiler button light keeps flashing, any way i can short some thing out to complete the circuit to make it think its stil connected?!

i bridged the connector in the plug by the headlight ,seems to work ok :) couldnt be bothered to take the dash apart again ;)

how did u bridge it? its easier to do that then take dash apart?

I think you just need to unplug the active spoiler ECU, which is behind the stereo.

Not 100% sure though and can't be arsed to search for the answer. I'm pretty sure you'd find the answer with a quick search though.

I can't understand what you mean. You said "active spoiler light is the same" - same as what?

 

So the "the engine warning light is on" but "nothin like eng warning lights showing". Is that right? You've lost me mate.

Sorry L33, I mistook Shane's reply (post #3) as a reply from you - no wonder I was confused. Sorry.

 

Anyway, why don't you whip off the dash panels and unplug the Active Spoiler ECU? Only takes 10 mins if you've ever done it before.

on mine the connector in the plug by the headlight is bridged with some wire

and the auto spoiler button is pressed
