Nic
Check the plugs and the connectors to the coil packs (these sit on top of the plugs), these are usual cause of misfire at higher boost. Have read of these threads in the FAQ section http://mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=41927 http://mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=61141 http://mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=35931 Edited June 23, 2008 by Nic (see edit history)

supra FTW
i have alredy orderd a full set of irodium tip plugs, its got platunum onse in now but thay look old. so once there in if that doesnt do it then i will check the conections to the coil packs as i noticed mine are missing the white plastic bit that holds the prongs in place so its dificult to plug them in:rolleyes: then the coil packs, is there any way to check a coil pack?... or do i just have to buy all new ones? regardes Matt
supra FTW
missfire fixed with my new plugs:d however my conections to the coil packs are fu*kd lol no white bit between the prongs and it broke down on the way home after doing the plugs and i kind fixed it enough to get home then had to slide the black plastic gard up the wires put the conections on individualy to enshure a good contact then wiggle the black plastic bit back down so it wouldnt arc across. now its all fixed and running amazingly smoooth. where can i get new connectors? the ones to the coilpack? many thanks Matt
