Hi as i said before the funeral cars are leaving the redlion chester-le-st at 1.30, the police are closing the small road that runs past the back of the pub for the funeral cars and they have given us permision to dive up front street, all cars who wish to follow, must follow with diped head lights and may begiven a special ticket by the co-op to identify the funeral cars.

thanks again for all your support.

Im so sorry i cant make the funeral, i liked Lew alot even though it was only on the forum, it shocked me and he was a decent bloke.

So instead, i'll have to say bye to Lew on here;

Bye Lew, you are a decent lad, RIP fella...

My condolences go out out to all the friends and family.

Echo that.

The Crematorium was over-flowing. Must have been several hundred people there.

I counted 5 Supes, John,Rob,Lee, Kenny & Steveo $ Gaz in the Mondeo together with loads of other performance cars.

The funeral possesion from his dads pub went up Chester le Street front street, Lewis would have loved that, all the cars together paying their respects.

As stated standing roon only for what sounded a fabulous service, then everyone came back to Chester le Street to Barracuda's for a drink and a remember.

Lewis had a great send off from both mkivsupra.net and JNE and all of his friends. He would have been very proud of the whole day and will be missed.

There is a cruise for Lewis this Sunday via JNE (http://www.japnortheast.co.uk) and Stevo is sorting on on behalf of the supra forum.

Lastly, I thanked his dad (Paul) before I left and he is going to meet me to discuss selling the parts Lewis accumulated.

Thanks to all who came to a fantastic send off, Lewis will be missed

Yep - as has been said, we couldn't even get into the building there was such a good turn out.

Very poignant choice of music I thought: Pink Floyd - Wish you were here, Eric Claption, tears from heaven and Maximo Park - my velocity.

All seemed to sum up different parts of a young man's short life...

I'm glad it went smoothly and had such a cracking turnout.

As I couldnt be there I went out for a blast in my supra at 2pm today, to think and pray for Lewis - also Darren and Rik. My thoughts and prayers with them and their families. I prayed too that we wouldnt have another such thread as this.

Rest in Peace Lewis, drive safely in heaven ;)

Great turn out fellas. I was overwhelmed with the number of people that turned up. I was there (not at the wake though) but I didn't bump in to any of you guys as I don't know anyone from the region yet:rolleyes:

The mini-Supra convoy which arrived at 2pm was quite something so well done you guys for looking tip-top;)

Paul certainly appreciated the turnout.

Yeah it was a great turnout, and yes Lewis would have been proud to be a part of it.

We even drove past the crash site slowed to a stop, there was alot of reving and BOV's off at that point as a sort of solute I suppose, that was quite touching.

Tahnks for all those who were there it was a great send off for such a young lad.

Lets hope its the last the club sees.

Drive safe and NEVER DRIVE FASTER THAN ANGLES CAN FLY.

Another true enthusiast taken from this world by the thing he loved so dear. I know is a bit hipacritical of me but be careful out there people.

I don't get time to keep up to date with all the forum news these days, so missed this tragic thread. Having read every post there is little to add that has not already been said.

Lewis contacted me on the 8th of June, I still have the pictures he sent me on my phone. We had a brief chat, he seemed very friendly. My sincerest condolences go to his family and friends.

I've been away so only just read this thread. Another good guy lost, RIP.

I am another who has never met Lew but had a chat via PM. I was going to have a chat with him at the last JNE meet but missed him. Gaz pointed out who he was to me when he was leaving, it's a shame i never got to meet him in person.
