Gordon F
What a yawn-fest. How? The guy lined up as cannon fodder shows true fighting spirit and never gives up. Very nearly wins the fight. Sure, Khan will be destroyed by any half handy Mexican, but you cant doubt Gomez's courage tonight.
Jake
I would agree but I've seen some pretty bad decisions in UFC as well. UFC is better from a spectators point of view though, no arguement there. Bad decisions by the judges? Yeah well you get that in anything that requires a verdict by so-called experts. But that's another good thing about UFC/MMA : very few of the good fights go the distance, so the judges are not called upon. Unless we're talking about that Tim Sylvia tosser (who thankfully seems to be out of UFC now) you rarely see a fight the distance.
jamesmark
Unless we're talking about that Tim Sylvia tosser Only seen a couple of his fights, he hard a wierd fighting stance. Just getting into UFC now, I wish I had a lot earlier.

Another fight where Khan looked worryingly under equipped: he can't take a decent shot (went down again tonight) and he can't deliver a convincing stoppage either. A round or two before the last one he should have stopped Gomez, he hit him time after time with no reply but still couldn't stop him. Seen it all before. ITV are trying to make out Khan is a potential great but in reality he's far from it. He'll probably be world champion of some organisation one day though, after all there are like 60 boxing 'world champions' walking around at any given time. Aero-M
As soon as Khan gets beaten he will disappear as quickly off the radar as Audley Harrison did. Frank Warren will be scurrying round Beijing at the Olympics, looking for the next 'worldbeater'. The only world class fighters in the UK at the moment are Joe Calzaghe and Ricky Hatton.
