Mike B
Thinking of changing my brake master cylinder, I've seen it done relatively easily on other cars, has anyone any experience of doing on the supra...? is it a nightmare? also there are lots of different master cylinders for the sup. Will the larger UK spec cylinder fit onto the jspec car do you think? ('99 vvti)
Pete
What are the benefits of doing this? Is yours broken?
Paul Whiffin
I changed mine yesterday on my own Supra as it was buggered. Very easy job to do, 2x 12mm nuts and 2x 10mm brake lines, wip it out, bolt the new one in and then bleed. Fixed the problems I was having with a long spongy pedal. But did you just go for the new unit specified to your car from toyota?
Paul Whiffin
Nope, I nicked it off a damaged car I have here but it was the larger type according to the chassis plate anyway, couldn't see any difference visually.
