Aerotop Dave
I need the attached file in *total* black and white format. If I try and save it in black and white it loses bits in the conversion - some bits disappear completely. Is there anyway of making it completely black and white (not the shades of grey it is at the moment) without losing bits of it? Thanks peeps
JamesG
Why do you need that? If you actually had dials made up from such a small image, it would be horribly blurry.
Aerotop Dave
Because I'm having some dials made but want to muck about with colours so I can see what they will look like
Supragal
did you try changing it to greyscale?
JamesG
I see I guess you probably want to do a flood fill so you can try the colours out. Your paint program will have some sort of option to fill in an area within a certain tolerance (its the magic wand in photoshop). You don't want to turn it to 1 bit greyscale (only black and white pixels) as any tiny little gaps will mean you can't fill in the area without the colour escaping! Aerotop Dave
Yes, you're exactly right, that is what I want to do, and yes that's exactly what was happening when I tried to convert it. I thought there might be some fancy way of making it straight b&w, but I'll try this magic wand doobry.
