kieren1234
Hi guys, i have a slight problem with the supra. Everytime i go over a bump/put full lock on or brake when going forward or reversing, my front right hand side of the car makes a loud knock noise. I took the car to Motosave as it is local and they said it was the track rod end that was loose. I bought a brand new one and had it fitted by them but I still have the same problem. Does anyone know what it could be, i will take it to a garage soon but would be nice to know what it could be. Many thanks.
Nic
Usually a sign of loose sub frame bolts, also make sure all the bolts that hold the suspension arms are tight.
Swampy442
Could be a ball joint?

gregd125
Mine was doing that, and the subframe bolts were loose by half a turn. Got them tightened and that sorted it for a while, and then the noise returned. On inspection, my mechanic found that the passenger side lower engine mount was knackered. I'm trying to find one at the moment, and not having any luck.
