Daston
Hey guys Sold my supe on ebay to a chap from Germany. Originaly when he asked if it was ok for him to purchase the car we agreed that the money would need to be in my account and the cash checked by a bank before I hand my keys over. After using the "buy it now" function we have decided to do the deal next Friday however he is now insisting that I take the money at the airport (he touches down at 10:15PM!). Obviously thats not going to happen, any advice would be good anyone had this happen to them at all? The strange thing is they are buying another supra the next day lol. SteveR
Swapped cash for the car when I sold my previous Supra. if yuo're worried, do the exchange IN a bank, and sign the V5 over when the bank have confirmed the money is genuine and in your account. Swampy442
Not quite the same but a friend of mine sold his car to a Swedish buyer. He insisted on cash on delivery, minus a deposit. We all had doubts but the guy pitched up with 3 friends who were on a shopping trip, left with an R32 GTR a Supra and an Evo! Make sure you see the cash mate, and good luck

turbonut
Do your own version of a receipt, with 'sold as seen' detailing condition, price and mileage and both your's and his address/contact details: two copies one for you and one for him and get him to sign and date both. If anything happens you have a signature. Check and count your money before you hand over the keys. If he's genuine I'm sure he won't mind doing things your way good luck with the handover Lx
colsoop
If you are at the airport pop inside and get the beaureau de change to verify a few of the notes are genuine. Oh and take a picture of his passport.
tbourner
Do your own version of a receipt, with 'sold as seen' ..... I'm pretty sure it's illegal to sell something as 'sold as seen' now? It certainly wouldn't hold up if anything was wrong with the item and it was found not fit for purpose at the time of sale.
