Did have me puzzled for a while though

Went off looking for a puzzle myself and found this....

Three gods A , B , and C are called, in some order, True, False, and Random. True always speaks truly, False always speaks falsely, but whether Random speaks truly or falsely is a completely random matter. Your task is to determine the identities of A , B , and C by asking three yes-no questions; each question must be put to exactly one god. The gods understand English, but will answer in their own language, in which the words for yes and no are “da” and “ja”, in some order. You do not know which word means which.

I do get it after reading it about 5 times. Reminds me of the one in that movie with bowie (not the never ending story, the other one) fantasia or something like that, with the 2 doors.

Ask the first god if the 2nd god tells the truth more often than the 3rd god. The answer will be Ja or Da meaning yes or no. You would need to make up a table of the answers though.....

This means that either god 3 is not the random, or god 2 is not the random. (depends on ja and da)

Next ask god3 if god1 tells the truth more often than god 2

Depending on the answer either god1 or god2 is not random (again depends on ja and da)

Bloody hell i just googled the answer to this..... wheres my gun! I'm going huntin'

Hong Kong here we come!

You 'orrible man. :D

Spent 10 mins on the Fustration one, looking at the first puzzle then getting annoyed with it (on a short fuse because of my hayfever), getting more angry and pissed off, then closed it using moderate swear words under my breath. :D

U wanna try frustration 2 then. Bloody nightmare. That thread should have been allowed to die, i spent hours on that bloody site lol.

The land of nod has roof's but no ceilings, it has door's but no entrance's, it has wooden floors but no carpets.

To enter the land of nod you must understand the land of nod. What other things does the land of nod have and not have?

Something to do with them not having a port. I remember this from geography. Can't remember the proper term..... landlocked? Not sure, surrounded by countries anyway.

You're getting there but there's more to it than that.:)
