Mike Posted August 29, 2008 Share Posted August 29, 2008 I watched [REC] last night with Charlotte... she basically hid behind a pillow for the whole of the second half and I (kind of embarrassing being the large manly grown-up man I am) literally jumped and (what can only be described as) shrieked at the same time at one bit. It's not a pleasant experience and I wouldn't recommend this particular flick to anyone with a 'nervous disposition' or a dodgy ticker... it's 70 minutes long, it come in, does its job and leaves. The ending is as nasty as you like. It could be too early to start adding this to the list of best horror films ever... but I'm going to.. it's a cracker. It looks like it was cheap as chips to make so don't expect a big sassy Hollywood thing, and the story isn't exactly The Usual Suspects, but if your disbelief is suspended as easily as mine, you will enjoy it...
