Lack of MAP sensor cause stalling?

Hey all

I've been performing some major surgery on my MoTec'd Supra reverting it back to stock. Engine wiring loom is soldered back together again and she does start, however she stalls after a few seconds of the idle speed dropping.

The only thing that I believe is wrong at this stage is that I haven't got the stock MAP sensor connected up yet. Could this be the cause of my issue? :)

You need to use the stock one.

As alex has said, if you are running a stock ecu it will be expecting voltages between a certain range and you will need to use the stock sensor or something that provides the same reading at the same pressure.
