Crankshaft pulley

Well, my first mechanical failure on the supra happened today after 5 years of ownership of 2 :( Pulling away in 1st, 3000 RPM hear wobble.. then cluttering, then low oil pressure, low voltage etc... pull over thinking *swearwords*. Found out that the bottom pulley is now kinda smooth looking... the outer ring separated from the pulley and f***ed off out of the engine bay. No other damage, not even to the radiator. Belt even stayed on and looks intact!

And I had just 4 days ago spent £124 on the alternator belt pre-tensioner pulley as I thought that was what was causing my squeaking! Bought from Toyota so I can't even take it back as it's a special order part.

I was going to ask people for advice and experience, what is my best option now? I am running currently a T70, but swapping back to GT35R once I get my arse in gear and get fitted

1) Get Toyota OEM pulley + belt - fit by toyota

2) Get ATI pulley (what's leadtime on these things?) + belt - fit by Toyota or someone competent - seen people mention these on the forum

3) Other... experiences please speak :) Lightweight crank pulley etc?

Will be doing a full service on the car too at the same time methinks!

Cheers all

Si
