When stationary or moving slowly when i turn the wheel quickly or slowly i get a whirring vibration from the wheel, i looked from the outside as my friend did it and my wheels vibrated shit loads!!! Very strange.... any one got any clues? Also do the turbos when below 4k but accelerating make a loud chugging noise that progresses in pitch - is this the build up to turbo 2? Cheers Ad.:)

I assume you have done the obvious and checked the wheel nuts are tight.

Possibly another instance of PAS pump noise?

Lots of people seem to be reporting this, but for some reason it never gets diagnosed at a garage or repaired.

Have any of the people who have reported similar symptoms ever found out what was causing it?

Adam, just a thought, have you checked the tension of the belt to the PAS pump?

Most turbo issues turn out to be a hose off or split, check all the hoses first for leaks or splits, it only takes one of the small 1/4 inch hoses to blow off to screw up the function of the turbos.
