RSP was only on the facelift models and any that have had a respray. another RSP thread here http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=150705
UltraFlynn
It's had a respray. It's definitely a proper Toyota colour though. Ask Barney. It's his car.
UltraFlynn
Just had a thought. Barney describes his paint colour as Royal Sapphire Blue. Maybe that's different from RSP. I'll get my coat....

Homer
Barney's car is really nice. He mentioned Lexus RSB in some old posts, it's definetely not RSP (or at least wasn't last time I saw it!).

MRX
Is RSP a metallic colour?
Pete
MRX said: Is RSP a metallic colour? I've never really understood the terms. It's metallic, but also has a purple / blue colour change from different angles. So is that Pearlescent? Or is that only achieved from multiple paint colours layered on each other, which RSP isn't. foodfreak
Rsp has 2 types of 'pearl' tint in it

dannysupratt
Funny enough i have just been looking at the pictures of that car its now my screen saver, thats got to be the nicest looking supra i have ever seen how could you sell that. Where did you get the carbon bits from for the oem kit?
UltraFlynn
I don't think they are carbon bits for an OEM kit. That's a Ridox kit. Here's another example: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/309793
Ark
I just bought some touch up paint for mine - 8L5 is described as "blue mica", uses a violet base paint with pearlescent metallic blue mixed in or something.
