miko_supra Posted June 15, 2008 Share Posted June 15, 2008 Done all my BPU parts... double 3" decat 48mm restrictor ring Greddy BCC Spark plugs no uprated fuel pump yet as it hasnt arrived. Took it out for a drive and although it feels more responsive i am seeing the exact same boost levels as i did before. (10 psi) I put the car into TTC mode http://www.internetwork.org.uk/ttc/ttc.htm to see if i could see a higher boost, but when i did this it boosted to around 7 psi and then dropped at higher rpms to around 4psi.... Its a j-spec TT, I've taken that exhaust on and off like 10 times in the past week so i think i might buy a manual boost controller for a few quid instead of pissing around with the restrictor ring...anyone have a guide on fitting these? I had this with my first supra when decatted and everyone jumped on the bandwagon thinking that there was something wrong but i very much doubt it. Exactly the same with me Kosmic, only when i put hybrids on and an EBC did it increase....frustrating i know but not all supra's act the same. tooquicktostop Posted June 25, 2008 Share Posted June 25, 2008 I wonder if you have a fuel delivery issue, have you changed the fuel filter?? also perhaps your fuel pump is having a problem supplying the fuel, do you have an AFR gauge, if so are you going lean?? When you ran it without the RR and boost controller were you still not getting anywhere 1.2 bar? I think I need to get myself a boost controller and give it a bash.
