Pffft, permies attitude!

You'd not be saying that if you were contracting there, would you matey? :)

Poor contractors, get paid a shed load of money compared to normal folk, then when the pinch sets in they expect the same graces, as far as I'm concerned , you go contracting, you get big money, you takes your chances, don't come crying to me when you take a day off & don't get paid for it :D

Managed to Fill mine up Friday afternoon, but had to get unleaded as the Shell I normally get my V-Power from had run out midweek (nothing to do with Strikes tho, just coincidence) and are not expecting anymore till next week :(

I only fill up every two weeks so I am good to go for a while now.

Lucky for you there Jamie. Got the MR2 filled up at Sainsbury's with 95RON, so will use that tomorrow. Am off all week in a works hire car, so we'll see how I get on on that

no problems with the BP garages round here at all, filled up the MR2 and the Vectra.

They reported in the paper the other day that the truck drivers have been offered a pay deal that would bring them up to £39,000 per year. Whether thats true or not I dont know, but seems a fair wage for sitting on their arse, listening to Radio2 all day and making motorists life hell.
