P4U1
Hi Just got an aero top supra, however theres a couple of things i want to do to it and wondered if anyone can give us some advice Firstly and mainly, when the roof is on there is alot of noise coming from the roof and also somewhere in the back, the seller said that some rubbers etc need replacing as these stop the noise as obviouly due to it being an aero top you get movement around the roof, what i need to know is is this normal and where can i get new rubbers supplied and fitted, im in essex Also, the front lights are the j-spec imported ones, the plastic due to age has gone very slightly yellow, can i fit the later spec xennon lights? Again where can i get these supplied and fitted? Lastly, there is some scuffs in the dashboard and i would like to get this covered or replaced? Again any ideas who can do this please? Many thanks in advance! Paul
Aerotop Dave
Aerotop Roof - is it wind noise or banging/rattling? Wind noise suggests either the roof isn't actually in place properly (not that likely) or that the seals have gone (not good - bit expensive to replace I believe). If it's banging or rattling then this is almost certainly because it's not been done up properly. Sometimes you can do it up, get 5 mins down the road and find you need to give them all a good tweak again to do them up the final last bit. Remember to always put the roof in when you're on level ground. The Aerotop roof should be completely silent, so if it's not then something isn't right. Rear noise - might be the boot rubbers. A good search will provide lots of solutions for this. Also check the roof holders in the boot - one of mine has a habit of popping into the 'up' position and rattling. Lights - again a search will provide you with some cleaning tips to remove the yellowing. Changing the bulbs is a bit of a stop-gap really - you either want to clean the lenses or get some spinkey UK glass ones. Dashboard - whereabouts do you mean? The location will determine the fix. Paul, The facelift Supras had different lights to the earlier models but they aren't Xenon/HID they're just regular halogen jobs

Jake
See the bit in that eBay listing that says: All products are made of a high quality materials with the most advanced 3M double side backing tape. So, yes it's stick-on.
P4U1
Is it the same thing as the MIAMI GT site or have a bought a different product?
Aerotop Dave
Not sure - it's a similar sort of thing. The one from Miami GT has a shiny sheen to it (almost like a laquer coating) whereas this one looks more dull in colour. A few people on here have fitted them. Again (!) a search will throw up the threads and a few tips for fitting them.
