would this battery be suitable for my supra

No you MIGHT get away with a Red Top 30, I'd use a Red Top 40. They need a very sympathetic usage, it's very easy to overcharge them, then they die and you won't get the warranty to cover overcharging they *KNOW* when this happens. I can supply cheaper if you want a Red Top

 

 

Thanks for that Chris,I think I may just go for a halfrauds or bosch battery in the boot then.

 

Dont fancy paying nearly £200 for it to die and not be covered by warranty.

 

Do you recommend any other batteries Chris?

They are the thing to have if you want a high powered, but lightweight battery, but they are not designed to take high charging currents. If you let it get very low on charge then use say the engine alternator to charge it, you'll kill it. Virtually every race car uses them, I have had one in one of my cars for 6 years and it's still fine. Just need to ensure they aren't charged at high amperages.
