SilverMachine
Nice on Fifty! No doubt when you're his age, you'll be buying a Ferrari or something just as fast. My dad (who's sadly passed away), bought a Gold Ford Capri 3.0L Sport at 70 as a late retirement present to himself. It was great being in the car with him, as at every opportunity he would take on anything. Young 'chav' ladz would be amazed they'd been beaten by an old timer. He'd always say to me; "don't tell your mother I did that.." Best car he ever bought! Dads are great aren't they. Gaz

The Hornet
My dad turns 60 next year, so he's not really that old But there is no signs of him ever getting a crappy slow car again. He's worse than me He is bored of his current R33 as its a non turbo so he's on the prowl for a Turbo one around £10-12K but he's in Spain at the moment for a month so it'll be when he gets back. dangerous brain
Usually above the age of 60 all drivers have two speeds regardless of where they are. Stopped and 40 mph
