One mans loss......

A friend of mine is going through a bit of a rough patch at the moment and needed to raise some cash quickly. Not one to take advantage or anything, I jokingly offered him £1000 cash for a 1988, absolutley mint, genuine 57000 mile Audi UR Quattro MB Turbo with £20k+ restoration reciepts......and he took it. :D Pictures tomorrow. Forgot how much fun they are! Fire up the Quattro! :)

Surely if you didn't know that, you don't belong on a car forum :)

Theres not that many of them left in good nick these days, theres some right sh*tters for sale at silly prices - all thanks to 'ashes to ashes'.

My mate has a pearlescent white 'tresser' UR and he's in the class audi club, we went down to the Midlands Breakfast Club in May with some other UR owners.

Convoy...

They're a nice car, certainly feel well planted through twisties...sound nice with a decent exhaust system. Finding decent parts for them is a challenge though I believe :)

I saw one of these the other day on Worthing seafront. Looked lovely. The Mrs said it looked pants (what would she know???.... and she's just reversed my Focus into the dustbin again breaking a rear light for the second time )

Always wanted one but had to make do with an 80 Sport many years back :)

If you need a good home for it Jezz???? ;)
