supraman382
Looks like iv managed to missplace my locking wheel nut.. just wondering if anyone knows a suitable tool and method to removing them (even if it means damaging them) or is it a garage job? Thanks

bmx1lew
I think some you can smash a 18mm ontop and wrench it off if not I think finding the same tool is impossible, my mate lost his when going to the shop they said there was over 250 differnt combinations. Dann
you get a A/F size socket that has multipull teath inside. get it so it just does not fit then smack it on with a hammer (carefull not to hit alloy) then attach a wrench and remove works a treat. I have had to do it a few times with second hand cars that i have bought and also once when i lost my locking wheel nut.

Chris Wilson
Proper tool set: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Franklin-Wheel-Nut-Removal-Set-locking-nut-AFT25_W0QQitemZ380029067209QQihZ025QQcategoryZ30917QQtcZphotoQQcmdZViewItem?refid=store Cheapo one: http://www.tooled-up.com/Product.asp?PID=109639&Referrer=Froogle A couple of very tight fitting cheap sockets hammered on (you'll probably *ugger one before you get all 4 off) works sometimes, be careful the sockets don't shatter in your face though!!
