marbleapple
Have you read the link? Yes thanks. He has found a tunnel which the previous owner blocked up. Its an old German Bunker. They hope to find exciting things in there. My point was that if the other person blocked it up, he obviously will have checked for valuables 1st... thus what do they hope to find other than a garage for the MX5? Gazboy
Is it as interesting as this? http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&f=141&t=543304&i=0 Jump to page 14 if you want the next pics and miss the chat, then 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 25 (boulder update) etc but it's worth having a read too IMO. Starts getting vaguely interesting again at page 42... then they get inside at page 49 if you just want to jump forward. I haven't had chance to read any of it properly yet as we are getting spammed to kingdom come by pricks in the thread so thanks for the page references , will have a read later

marbleapple
Looking at the pictures, I am amazed at how things have rotted/rusted away to be honest. I know they have been underground etc but 50/60 years isn't that long really.

marbleapple
Well it's good to know that at least one thing has managed to amaze you at last. Cheeky SOAB To qualify my statement: I sell (as a hobby) old toys dating back from the early 1950's. Most of the ones I own still have the little cardboard boxes that they came in and are in mint condition. I accept they haven't been placed in a hole for 50 years but I was taken aback about the condition of the finds compared with the items I own from aroud the same era.
