Brilliant result for Kubica, a well deserved win. Nice to see Coultard on the podium again!

Did Kimi get a penalty after Monaco then? I hadn't picked up on that.

Oh look - one of the cars in front is a red one. Now which one shall I aim for? :innocent:

I wonder how much of a favour Sutil now owes Hamilton? :D

What an interesting race....

No punishment for Kimi.

It was because of Sutil that the safety car was out hence the mass run for the pits..... :D

BREAKING NEWS:

Hamilton handed 10 place grid penalty for French GP, Rosberg too.

They both screwed up royally so I guess this is deserved to some degree. Driver error in the pit lane is taken far more seriously than the racing incident that Kimi had in Monaco...

One way or another, France should be an interesting race if Hamilton is mid grid

What was it Alonso said? I was on the phone and only heard them apologise after...

Yeh exactly, what did Alsonso say, i missed his swearing spree! :D

Wasnt a bad race but i wanted Lewis to win! He had it in the bag until he wasnt told of the red light until it was too late and was going to fast to stop...

I bet Lewis will be p*ssed that his race will be tough for him in two weeks, especially at Magny Cours...

Damn, I don't know if that's harsh or not, as I am a bit biased towards Lewis as he's my favourite driver...

But I've read the story here:

http://www.itv-f1.com/News_Article.aspx?id=42937

And he says he saw the lights (Although a bit too late), so I think I can say "Fair play to him for admitting his mistake", the git.

Im gutted for him though because now providing his Mclaren will be on the pace, will be at least 10th place and has all the work to do as he has lost the lead of the championship AGAIN! :(

Earlier he was saying it was 'just one of those things', which seemed a bit blase

No doubt he deserves the penalty, but it's easy to imagine how it came about - him seeing Kimi and Kubica lining up for a squabble, seeing a possible opportunity up the road, and wanting to stay close in order to take advantage of it if he could.

Although there was no excuse for what LH did, it once again shows how biased F1 is towards Ferrari. Kimi got sod all of a Penalty for his Monaco feck up.

Look at it this way, If the stewards had done their job correctly and gave Kimi a penalty then he would not have been at the end of the pit lane meaning LH would not have caused the incident. :innocent:

Formula 1 cars need temperature to work properly he had just done a pit stop and his brakes and tyres wouldn't of been at their best so stopping quickly isn't going to happen, which is why the accident looked so daft. As for aiming at Kimi, the pit lane had space on the left which is what he tried to swerve towards if you look.

He cocked up and has lost out so why does he need punishing, he was in the lead of the GP with ease and know he has no points. Kimi did something similar a couple of weeks back and wasn't punished although he does drive a ferrari.
