imi
So I picked up my car yesterday....without MOT (another story). Called up a garage, explained the situation - assured me that they would do a MOT which is why I drove to them today. Left the car with them for 2 hrs only for them to call and say that they wouldnt do it. I go to collect the car and start to drive away....guess what, I have a rear drivers side flat tyre (seems like something very sharp went all the way through - piece of glass / blunt - wide knife maybe). my rear tyres are hardly 2 months old..... Cost me £165 to change. Just got back home.... Guess what... Exactly the same damage mark on my front left tyre too........although it hasnt deflated the tyre for now (will have to get this checked on monday and perhaps changed) seems very strange to have two damaged tyres on the opposite sides of the car on the same day. gaz1
it so winds me up when i hear things like that, sounds like someone has done that with screws ,nails against the tyre when it was parked, (wan*kers)
The Raven
That sucks sounds like someone is putting a knife in them. That said my Mrs can find all the nails and screws on any road. Goes though tyres like they where tissues.
Supra786
I get so wound up with HATERS, why hate, you see something nice you take a minute or so to admire. Just because you can't have it doesn't mean no one else can! The worst are key scratches! Irritates the s*** out of me! I mean why? why would you wanna do something like that! Its not like when I see a aston or ferrari that I think to myself, gosh I wonder how I can destroy the car because its not mine! I'll shut up now, but chin up, theres people like that out there, your always gonna get some tw*t wanting to blow up your car!
Homer
Sorry to hear this Imi, gutted for you. Its disgusting the way some people treat others property Was it parked in a public area/street?
Steve W
I was just about to drive to work, the other week, in my soop only to find that some darling kids had keyed above both rear wheel arches and knifed both rear tyres!!! This is the second time it has happened!! The first time we had to have a complete respray plus replacements of both rear and front screens....... they had keyed every panel, including the roof of the aero top and both screens. The police, bless them.... said "If we leave the car in a more public place, more over looked, it might not get damaged??" :complain::complain: I park it next to our back gate in some tucked away parking bays, so it was kept hidden. The police had said the vandals had been hidden away to. Sorry about the moan ..... it really bugs me when this sort of thing happens and the police aren't able to charge/catch anybody. They did say that we won't the only owners that had been keyed so it wasn't personal.... oh so glad to hear that!!!! cheers Steve W's Carole xxxxxx
SupraStar 3000
Scum bags. I've had this done to me too. Thought it was just a nail but when I removed the wheel I found a knife handle sticking out the wheel. Pulled it out along with the blade and not suprising, the wheel completely deflated. DOH! Guest dangerousandy
you should see the vandal damage to the new cars we have at work. Anyone caught doing stuff like this should have their hands cut off - NO EXCEPTIONS, NO EXCUSES

As much as I feel for the problems you've had, there are worse places to own a nice car Living in London doesn't help though... it's the a***hole of England, chocked full of p*ssheads and chavs. Try and move to a nice part of the country (as I am)

Homer
whats wrong with feltham? erm, it's in Greater London, therefore horrible poluted town full of scum London is great when you're under 30, but if you want a good quality of life, in a decent area, with decent neighbours/locals, you need to head north or west - and stay away from the darn cities! London was nice when I was younger, but there is no way I'd go back there.. even Reading is too inner city

The Restorer
It's shit isn't it. You work hard and spend your money on something that makes you happy, but the stress of worrying what someone might do to your pride and joy sours the experience. Konrad
Sorry to hear that imi Worst thing is that even if they got caught it means absolutely nothing in this bloody joke of the law country, they will just get reprimended and you still have to pay all damages eh... China Man
nah if I have I would have bind them to my exhaust pipe and drive around forest a few rounds. If that is your car then you parked up the side at the petrol station outside the garage. I won't dare to park that close to the side barrier. This area is not good and I am lucky to have a buyer at the moment and moving soon
