wile e coyote
Looking at removing my 2nd cat but there is a sensor in it ? What is it ? (cat temp?) Also does this sensor need to be pluged back into the decat or tyed up out of the way, if so how will this effect the car and will i get the warning light on? Car is a VVTI TT Thanks Darren
supraturbochris
hello mate, mine aint a vvti but went i removed both cats on the supe, i just tied it up and away for the exhaust system. No lights come on the dash. im pretty sure its going to be the same for vvti's too. P.s they are very easy to do.
Nic
Yes cat temp sensor, just cable tie it out of the way. It has no effect on the cars running it is only for the warning light, unless global warming gets seriously out of control you won't get the warning light coming on.
