Chris Wilson
Wondering what early Continental R's are like for rot and reliability? Thanks. This shaped one, circa 1995 model year:
Havard
Surely they are too expensive to rot, arent they?? H.
JustGav
A friend of a friend works for Bentley in Reading I believe, I will have a word in the morning
Chris Wilson
All Rolls Royce and Bentleys I have come across are rot boxes, was really wondering if these were any better or worse than the norm.
Ewen
Good looking car the R. '95 /'96 are still around the £40 - £50k mark though by the looks of it.
Chris Wilson
I doubt they will be soon, the fuel and economic crises will hit stuff like that like a jackhammer. The early ones are sub 30K now. Dare I say that I like the look of them, and Jane is saying the place is littered with "scrappers"? Slight exaggeration, but I know what she means If I found I could steal a nice one for sensible money I might have a punt.

Ewen
Why not, while you're still young enough to enjoy it.
Ian W
Why not, you're only young once.
RedM
I think that looks ugly compared to the recent models. Speaking of which we have three in our tiny village alone and there are two more in the next village. So much for imminent recession and shocking tax and fuel increases! Chris Wilson
I thought you promised never to spend that much on a road car? *I* won't be buying one, if `er indoors wants to make the place look a bit more up market she'll have to dig deep
