grahamc
To sand down a mountain bike frame and re-spray the whole thing? Just started stripping my bike down, and there are loads of chips and scratches all over the frame, so thinking about having it re-sprayed. Is this something that is easy to do? Like re-spray dash plastics?

grahamc
no, get it powder coated. I think thats a better idea. Who do I find some that can do it? Normal spray shop? Specialist?
merckx
Here's a bike shop that does resprays, it's not really worth the hastle of doing them yourself. http://www.daveyatescycles.co.uk/repairs.htm
Nic
I Nitormors'd my aluminium Orange frame many years ago and got it anodized blue, it wasn't too difficult a job. Sanding the thing would be a nightmare I'd imagine, bead blasting would be quick and easy if you can find a booth big enough to fit it in.
