ivan
He went in backwards, so I'm wondering if he'd even realised he'd hit someone.
Matt H
He went in backwards, so I'm wondering if he'd even realised he'd hit someone. he would have to be blind and deaf to have not noticed what he had done. And considering he has to see the track ahead and hear his co-driver i doubt he is either. Just a case of his priorities being in the wrong place

Why do you think the driver and co driver need radios to communicate with each other 2 feet away?
Matt H
Why do you think the driver and co driver need radios to communicate with each other 2 feet away? Clarity, no point in risking a miss communication
Gaz6002
Clarity, no point in risking a miss communication OK fair enough, I understand you have never been in or near a rally car then.
Matt H
OK fair enough, I understand you have never been in or near a rally car then. no i've been to rallys and watched them on t.v, and understand that its loud in the cabins, but when the car stopped and stalled i'm sure when the bodies where flying around he hand an idea using his eyes and ears that he probably had hit the crowd, espically as he was approaching them before he spun. Trying to say he had no idea is clutching at straws in the exuse barrell

Trying to say he had no idea is clutching at straws in the exuse barrell OK then I admit I'm sympathetic to the drivers and how they are going to see things and for that reason I'm going to duck out of this arguement. The only point I want to make is that it's a lot easier seeing things on the internet in the comfort of your chair than it is being in or even understanding that situation. SilverSoop
Only just..... I'm sure if Colin Macrae did something like this people would have a different opinion. Its just when he stopped, surely he must have realised he had hit something or someone by the way the crowd rushed to the one spot... Yeah, only by a whole day!! I only saw this on Sky news and was just going to post it! But low and behold, here it is lol...
