Anyone seen Premonition?

Can someone put Premonition on a scale of confusingness and goodness alongside films like Memento and Machinist and Jacobs Ladder and Mulholland Drive please?

I like the first 2, thought the other 2 were a bit 'too' weird, especially MD!! Haven't seen Premonition though.

Ok I will try to explain :D

Her trip to crash is starting at points -7 and 7. Every day she is waking up she is closer and closer to point 0 (crash day), something like -6, 6, -5, 5 etc. Looney part where she end up being locked is point no. 7. Closer to crash day, less crazy people take her for.

Movie was brilliant, although I almost jump out of my bloody skin when her kid turned with all face cut to pieces :scared:

@Pete

Guy in Butterfly Effect knew he had influence on his own future, this woman had no idea it was her actions, which made her husband to die :p

I think the film was trying to convey a religious message that because she had lost her faith that she was then taken over by 'evil' forces....(as mentioned by the priest when she goes to visit him).... ie. the premonitions of the future are the evil. And because her husdband was cheating (or about to cheat), then her premonitions caused her to kill her husband by requesting him to turn the car around on the hill top at mile marker 220.

If the film was trying to convey the message that fate is inevitable then it does a really bad job at it. As otherwise it is just a chopped up time line film that always has the storyline told in the first few mins of the movie.

Always liked Sandra Bullock... bacame an instant fan of hers in the movie Demolition Man.

Think I have seen all her movies to date. :)

I'll never forget the local paper that ran a feature on her with the headline "Bullock Brains" :rlol:

That still doesn't make sense though. Everything she saw in her premonitions came true EXCEPT the loony bit. The films showed way past 'day 7' after the crash and no loony bin, just up the duff.
