Take a look at this website and see what you think.

Autronics was started by an ex Motec person, well rated in Oz, little known over here. forget the self learning, IMO to all intents and purposes it doesn't work. You have to specify injector impedance when you buy it, so it doesn't swap to other engines as readily as Motec. IMO it is better than Haltech, similar to DTA and MBE, but not as good as Motec. I have just boought a car with MBE management, it's a PITA to map compared with Motec. The windows software is pretty, but has proven (in this application0 to be a bit unstable in use. The DOS based Motec stuff is utterly bullet proof, but not as pretty.

Motec have dropped their UK pricing, so it is a lot closer in cost to other stuff now. I love its stability and ease of upgrade. I can use my M800 on virtually anything from single cylinder to V12 sequential njection, dual wide band lambda, same box of tricks. Motec support is also 100%, they back up their products with free software updates, MBE charge, in fact MBE themselves are PITA to deal with, although SB Developments, their main retailer, are brilliant.
