Chris Wilson
The elderly lady who lives opposite us lost her husband a few weeks ago. She still drives and I would like to buy her a basic mobile phone in case she breaks down or has issues. Where's the best deal on something really simple to use? What model? Thanks. jamesmark
Tesco's do a good choice. If it is for an old lady I personally would try and get hold of a basic Nokia, the ones before camera's, email, web etc. The old Nokia's have a very easy menu system. ivan
On the cheap: A basic 2nd hand phone from somewhere like here: http://www.2ndhandmobilephones.co.uk/index.asp (We just got one of the £20 Nokias for the missus when her old one broke) Then pop into an Orange shop and pick up a free PAYG SIM on their basic plan. Add a minimum of £5 topup and there you go.
steb9780
Chris Adsa were doing dead basic phones for £5 and £10 a few weeks back. All on a variety of networks.
