Chris Wilson
Thread resurrection: What sized tyres did Lexus put on these rims, in period? Are people running the same size tyres on these on a MKIV? Ta!

SimonT
I run 235/40/18 and 265/35/18 didnt realise i should be running larger sizes
Chris Wilson
Personally I prefer to run a tyre at the narrower end of the recommended fitment options, so they are a bit stretched on the rim, it supports the tread better and flatter than the widest fitments on a given rim width. Thanks for the replies, where is best on price for a quality tyre in those sizes at the moment. Michelin, Yokohama, Firestone, etcetera, not el cheapo stuff. Ta! j_jza80
I find Camskill are generally the cheapest, although i've only bought Yokohamas and Toyos through them before.

Tee from China
At todays prices it can work out cheaper to buy a GS300 Sport with the optional rears on and then resell it with your old wheels on there is one currently on autotrader.uk for £1500 or offers with the wider rears and good tyres too:eyebrows:
