mrdsukautos
Ok i have a change of plans and will be sourcing a manual conversion instead of fitting the drag box after having a shot of a 6 speed supra this was Gamers box that had only done 300 miles from new i only want what i paid for it £1500 nver fitted to my car so only gamers miles on this box the stally is included at that price will consider selling seperately

mrdsukautos
I'm sure they do, maybe for less money though they wish Michael its basically a new box for a lot cheaper than a new box delivered from states would be and a stally thrown in for free
michael
I agree, it's a good price, I'm just saying that maybe it's not quite at impulse buy level - hold on to it for a bit, people will be hitting the drag strips soon and realising they need such things I'd have it myself but there isn't much point when the car never leaves the driveway. mrdsukautos
I'd have it myself but there isn't much point when the car never leaves the driveway. hehe i been trying to find the time to build my own car as well michael Ive now taken it off the road so trying to make me find the time to rip it apart and get it done so as to at least go to one drag meet this year:rolleyes:

matt k
what is this? It's a torque convertor, the 3800 refers to the stall speed (RPM) a stock one is approx 2000 rpm, it will cut time off your 1/4 mile drastically.

iain2010
Hi, I emailed you about this but what difference does the drag box make? Is it quicker at changing or something? Sorry i did try searching but i couldnt find any info out on the box.
Zofix
The stock auto box can only handle about 450hk.. This one should be just fine with 700hk - Please correct me if I'm wrong..
iain2010
Oh i see its down to handling the power, rather than quicker changes etc! Thanks
mrdsukautos
I believe the valve body has also been modified for quicker changes similar to the MV autos modified valve bodies

Holeshot
What's this like for general driving? Or is it as the name describes "drag box" and only serves a real purpose for the drag strip?

I was at my first race today. And the best time was 9.3 sec on a 201m track Nothink happans the first 30meters whit my standart converter/autobox.
