Multics
Just got to work, I'm affraid the rear driver's side caliper has seized pretty badly, there was smoke coming out. From what I read I need to get a refurb kit or a new caliper and fit the whole thing. Problem is that I've never done it before and my car is at work right now. It's my daily driver and obviously can't drive back home with this problem... Anyone in the Uxbridge/Denham/Gerrards Cross area can help please? mrdsukautos
get a mobile mechanic to come out and he can pop the pistons out and clean em with wet and dry paper and also caliper do the same mostly this is all a seized caliper needs he has to be careful refitting the piston to not damage the rubber boot tho even if he does hole it its not a huge problem just order he kit from toyota and the caliper will be ok till that arrives
Multics
Weird thing. Went out to check the car again and the caliper was ok, not sticking at all... Took it to Jezz, the rubber seal was damaged. Changed the caliper, all good
