kosmic
Today i started to fit the lenses from Supragaztt's GB.... ...only managed to fit one lense, which took about 4.5 hours fron start to finish. I had a few problems along the way, namely the Dremel bits which kept overheating and breaking so had to continuely cool them while cutting in water. the other thing which i did different was NOT to remove the old lense from the body in the oven, i thought it was better not to and i think it didnt come out too bad, the reason was because i didnt want to make a mess of having to seal both the old lense ring to the light body and then the new lense to the old. The only thing i made a c*ck up of was filling the gap between the lenses as i found filler doesnt adhere too well to bostick adhesive something which i may need to redo and do properly on the other side. Anyway heres the before and after pics: http://img50.imageshack.us/img50/7130/dsc00306pg1.jpg http://img50.imageshack.us/img50/7130/dsc00306pg1.963cb771dc.jpg http://img50.imageshack.us/img50/880/dsc00305du3.jpg http://img50.imageshack.us/img50/880/dsc00305du3.0ab7823b7e.jpg http://img504.imageshack.us/img504/9475/dsc00304db9.jpg http://img504.imageshack.us/img504/9475/dsc00304db9.cb29ca6868.jpg http://img50.imageshack.us/img50/4695/dsc00307bc1.jpg http://img50.imageshack.us/img50/4695/dsc00307bc1.bd72374d36.jpg

Without sounding like a complete idiot, how do you actually do it then?? Because, tbh, i wouldnt mind doing this in the future as i have noticed that my passenger side headlight is going slightly yellow-ish...
