geoffvalenti
Its a normal right hand thread. Its also VERY tight. One way that I've found to do these bolts is to wedge a strong socket bar against the ground or chassis, pull the EFI fuses and stab the starter. DON'T KEEP IT SPINNING. A few stabs and it should undo. Make sure that you've got the socket bar positioned in the right place, so when the engine turns in its normal rotation, (clockwise, viewed from the front) its locked. You don't want the thing spinning round before it locks Usual disclaimers apply, if you fcuk it up its down to you. And, please, no posts saying that its dangerous, or bodging, or anything. I KNOW THAT! it's just sometimes any port in a storm

paul mac
think the correct torque is 400 nm but as my torque wrench only went to 200 it got that then a bit more they are ridiculously tight though, got mine off with a mates high torque air wrench and a specially made holding tool i had made on a "sponsorship" deal at work, if anyone wants the measurements for said tool i still have it somewhere
