Squeaky PAS

Thats what mine did, shortly before the pulley sheared off.

 

Have you had your drive belt or cambelt changed by Toyota previously, as their blowtorch method caused all my problems.

 

Otherwise you might just need a new belt at £60 odd.

It'd be easier to stomach if I wasn't going to sell it next month.

 

I've heard this from somebody else recently. They thought they had a PAS fault and they ended up with the crank pulley falling off on them. :eek:

 

I wonder if it happens if somebody has previously bodged a cambelt change.
