I'm off on honeymoon in September to watch a launch, beats the hell out of the Caribbean If you look on the net, we found some prices last year for about £400 each including car hire and 5 nights hotel That was for Feb 2008. AJI Posted June 11, 2008 Share Posted June 11, 2008 the shuttle and the rockets are truely amazing things..... the power/thrust and the whole physics behind them is great. About three years ago I looked up in the night sky to see the shuttle and the space station fly silently overhead.... they were just dots in the sky, but I had to check on the internet to confirm what I just saw. To me it looked like the shuttle was approaching the space station as there was about a 2cm perspective gap between the two bright dots as I viewed them.
