Jamesy W
Just about to head out for a sat nav thingy, problem being they all seem pretty much the same. Can anyone recommend any of these or even ones to stay clear of? edge
I have used a tom tom for years and have been very reliable so have alot of my friends and family. Mate has had two top end garmins that have both broken after there warranty period and my mums one played up too.I use my tom tom all day every day so quick input is key and it gets battered about quite alot too. Also lots of software for very little money on ebay aswel.

SupraHuman
I used the Garmin Nuvi 610 or 640(can't remember) every day 24/7 for a whole year when I did the long haul in europe and it never let me down.I also have a Tomtom and the Garmin is way better and user more friendly.Only thing tomtom does better is you can have the mph/kph on the map screen as you navigate.
