supra_si
Right im feeling that my supe is due a service so going to save a few quid and get myself and my mech mate to give me a hand to freshen her up. Got spark plugs on the way and have great prices for oil and air filter so picking them up in a cpl of days. I think im going to oilman for the oil. is it worth changing the fuel filter? im not sure when it was last changed and im thinking it probably hasnt for a long time. also is it easy to change the gearbox oil??? cheers for your help si
miko_supra
might as well change the fuel filter whilst your under th car. I changed the gearbox oil on my w58 and i had to feed a tube down from the engine bay to send the oil down as the gearbox fits snuggly in the transmission tunnel, or you can use some sort of pump. edge
Auto's are quite easy to change the box oil. If your not sure about the life of the fuel filter then change it. But be careful not to thread it.
