imi
To me....i dont think it does provided the car has been looked after, serviced and maintained thoroughly. you are buying a car that is probably 10yrs old +.....
tooquicktostop
I would be more interested in a full service history and general condition, however Supras are cheap to buy now so going forward I see more owners buying them and then finding out they are not cheap to look after so missing services and maintanence, then selling on, so again FSH for me along with an inspection on a higher value car by someone who knows what they are looking for
bignum
Not really as long as they`ve all looked after it, ie, service/oil changes etc and check for telltale signs of wear/damage to back up mileage.
Guest cordell
even 9 owners in 8 years? im just thinking about when i come to sell it??
tooquicktostop
even 9 owners in 8 years? im just thinking about when i come to sell it?? I tend not to keep my cars for very long, but those that I do have fortunes spent on them so I would not worry if FSH is there
Guest cordell
http://pistonheads.com/sales/536273.htm - check this out for me please, im interested in buying????
tooquicktostop
Great spec but with that spec I would want a full inspection with a tuner, it has run 2.1bar which is A LOT even on a built engine, may be a great car but take it from someone who has been mis-sold before, get someone to go with you to see it
Chris Wilson
16K, and you can't drive the damned thing?? Those 2 basics would see me walking for a start... I wouldn't pay 600 for something I couldn't try.
Guest cordell
i have been and viewed the car, it was very fast and strong, i didnt drive it, the paintwork is rough, like quite bad ,although recentley sprayed? he has been through 3 previous engines, and only runs it at 1.4 bar with 600hp, not 750, any thoughts please?? Thorin
The cars performance is amazing with 11 second 1/4 no problem the car tops out at 208 MPH 0-60 time is just over 3 seconds and 30-100 time is under 10 seconds if you can keep it arse on the tarmac Bold claims, any proof? Or is he just guessing.
tooquicktostop
Stated in the build thread that TDI had given a years warranty so worth checking if that is still valid with a new owner?

jamesmark
I woudl not trust him as far as I could through him, and that's not very far. He drives like a tw@t too there is a reason why it has had engines replaced and rebuilds done, so what state is the engine going to be in at the moment? The way supra prices are at the moment for £16k I woudl expect it to be mint and not have bad paint work. I personally woudl not buy it.
