Jim_1979
My pads occasionally clunk now and again. TBH I'm used to it and my last Supra done it also. Just wondering why it happens and if there's a way to stop it? Also are pads usually squeally on Supras? All pads are fine etc on the car but they squeal a bit. Again my last Supra done it. I put fresh pads on my last car and they squealled like mad. Changed to a different brand and they were fine.
rick001
As you say i think it depends on the quality of pad -

mrdsukautos
waits for the shock factor on the cost of a shim kit which is no more than a couple of metal plates lol XD

Homer
anyone anymore info? Not sure what you expect here mate, make sure you have the shims fitted and bronze greased and they shouldn't squeel - unless they are a poor quality pad, or are made for race use. Jim_1979
ok mate. Shims are the metal parts that fit to the pads right?
edge
I got mine apart and gave them all a good clean and lube in the right places and have been fine since.
