b_have
Mate of mine races in the Ferrari challenge cup series and invited me up to a test session at Brands hatch. Following a mornings testing as a passenger, I got to drive it for two sessions after lunch. Having never driven a fully prepped race car before, it was a little daunting (especially being left hand drive). Just getting in was like doing a contortion act, the cage/onboard fire system and 5 point harness had to be negotiated and then strapped in and connected to the intercom by the engineer took a few minutes. Have to say, although not stupid fast on the straights, I have never experienced mechanical grip like this. The cornering ability seemed limitless. Late in the afternoon, we had a small technical issue, so sneaked out in the Supra with the GT session. Got blitzed by a mega quick Viper (and pretty much everything else in the turns). Great experience

Pot
A very nice day out fella, as someone who only dreams of owning a shop ferrari I admire people who have them, then strip, chop and change them for the track, and drive them as they should be driven...
