Mike M
Check and make sure you can touch all your wheels without jumping in the air holding your fingers. I had smoke coming out the rear wheel because the caliper was that seized, does nothing for the fuel economy either.
drnas78
ive checked the wheels after 15-20 min drive no heat out of the tyres or the alloy, before having calipre repaired this was an issue with OSF wheel but not any more, just reallys eems to have lost power and accelaration seems a drag. any other ideas or known mechanics /speacilists apart from toyota. JustGav
Could be 02 sensors...could be stale fuel...

I had smoke coming out the rear wheel because the caliper was that seized, does nothing for the fuel economy either. This thing happened to me in my last car with the front brakes... it seemed to drive fine until i got to about 70 on the motorway then it just wouldnt pull ...turned out to be a seized caliper! what was wrong with the caliper that you had repaired?? Mike M
NA should easy see over 300 miles from a tank mixed driving, I'd reckon long journeys on the motorway it'll get nearly 400 as I've had close to that in my Jspec TT. If your mileage is crap then yeah possibly the O2 sensors are going, Nic on here can get them for a good price or you'll be well over a 100 quid each from Mr T. Reset the ECU by either disconnecting the battery or pulling out the ECU fuses in the engine bay for a minute or two.
drnas78
bloody thngs guzzled half a tank and only done 70 miles so far .....didnt thnk 02 sensor would reduce accelaration tht much or does it
