hi guys,

i need some help and am hoping that anyone can help me here,

last weekend i took out the original steering wheel with the airbag and the cruise control.

i wanted to put an aftermarket momo steering wheel in its place without the airbag and the CC.

now i olso took out the part that is on the steeringcolum and is a sort of yellow ring where the plug for the cruise control goes in.

now when i removed that i cut the yellow wire wich was from the airbag and that is that so that shoud be fine.

then i wanted to build the cruise control in somewhere else so i made some space in the steeringcollum and placed the CC stalk there.

then offcourse i had to connect it since i now had an plug on the cc stalk and an plug on in the wiring coming from the steeringcollum.

i have cut of both plugs and started to join the wires.

now on the one from the cc stalk i had a white wire, a black wire, a brown wire and a red wire.

the black wire was attached to a steel part of the original steering wheel wich i have cut loose.

i thought that the black wire was for the horn.

now on the plug on the wirings comming from the steeringcollum i had an white wire, an red wire, a white wire with a black stripe and a green wire.

i thought the green one was for the horn so i connected that with the horn of the momo steering wheel. (and not in any way with the cc)

then i connected the red with the red, the white with the white and the the remaining brown with the white one with the stripe on it.

the result is that the horn does not work!!?

and if the cc works i have no idea since i did not drive the car yet but i have no idea if what i did was correct!????

and another problem i got is that when i took the cc stalk apart and took the on/off button out something flew away and i have no idea what it was but it was supposed to make the button stay in when pressed and get out when pressed again because now i does not stay in anymore anyone got any idea how to solve these probs and if i did my wiring ok?

(i still have the little spring and i asume somthing goes with the spring but what??)

i hope you can help me please, i am from the netherlands so please do exuse me if some or most words are incorrect. i dont know the english words for everything i mean so i hope you can understand this!

greetings, Thanks Michael
