Why does it not properly open when you use the key or the latch, the boot is so heavy that unless you keep the key turned and lift it it wont open, annoying when you are carrying something. Doctor Boot needs some more details before dealing with your enquiry What wing have you got fitted to the rear. I'd guess Veilside as they are quite heavy. martini Posted January 22, 2010 Share Posted January 22, 2010 My gas struts struggle (stock rear) when the boot blind is in and it's a cold day.
