boot release - how to? :(

stupid and slightly embarrassing question but, how do you release the boot catch from inside the car? (like the bonnet and fuel flap)!

I've had the car over 3 years and looked at every conceivable button / lever and assumed you can only unlock the boot from the key hole at the back.

Last sunday at the Midlands event someone asked to see my G&B seats.

So I unlocked the door and opened it. around the same time another chap asked if I could open the boot so he could look at the sub install and before I could find my keys the boot poped open and everybody gazed inside but I was alittle confused to know how the boot was opened from inside and without my keys! ....Before long I had forgotten about the mystery and continued chatting away with other members.

Just noticed my car keys by my desk and remembered the incident

Am I going MAD or what?

EDIT: 7 years on, and still none the wiser

not sure either...

1 crazy fool, 9 years later.. 362 memberships expired, 1584 posts and counting..

p.s

Love you long time

Gabriella,

How tall are you?

Only ask, as I'd like to know if I should bring a saw with me, so I can trim a bit off you when I bundle your twitching body into my boot of my car,.... assuming you've helped me unlock it first.

NB: To anyone else, the above comment may seem alittle 'dark' or 'inappropriate',... but Gabriella knows I'm joking.

I'd use an axe. Far quicker ;)

Haven't quite worked out yet whether it was a good or bad thing that I felt the need to point out to the buyer of my car where the boot release was. I think it should be an amendment to the 'things to look out for when buying a supra' guide.

The bit of plastic next to your fuel cap release that drains your battery if you pull it and lets air flow thru your car better ;-)
