spiderpigcity
if i want to run a afr gauge and an egt gauge can i tap into the AEM ecu or do i have to drill a hole in the downpipe for the egt. what do i connect the afr gauge to ?
JamieP
They both have sensors that need to go in the exhaust, the egt sensor can also go in the turbo or manifold runners, i had mine mounted in the turbo.

JamieP
The afr sensor needs to go in the downpipe, read the instructions;) the egt sensor can go in the turbo, but you have to remove it if you want to do that or just put it in the downpipe but it will read a bit low. and1c
so just drill and tap the turbo exhuast housing with two holes then? Just buy a wideband kit like this Wideband kit and you get the gauge and sensor and all the install bits. Like JamieP says, its important the sensor is installed in the right location to obtain accurate and meaningful readings.
