good race, mixed weather made it interesting! bit of a shocker from Raikonnen though and gutting for Sutil too!

managed to watch it in the end by switching to digital freeview via laptop straight to projector, glad I did :)

I propose a new rule for the 2009 season: Installation of sprinklers at every track that'll randomly switch on during the race. :)

4, 8, 15, 16, 23 and 42

:innocent:

I'd love to see those numbers come up and then laugh at everyone claiming their jackpot of something like a few grand! :D

:) Great stuff, really enjoyed that. Feel so sorry for Sutil though, that would have been amazing.

Glad that Mclaren got their revised strategy right despite Hamilton's mishap. a bit dissappointed for Haiko, think he should have done much better.

Regarding Sutil....Like Mike Gascoigne said, if the roles were reversed, would Force India have received some sort of penalty....

seems like a decent chap....and a good team....absolutely gutted for them.

Raikonnen had a shocker of a race.....

Over the moon that Ferrari are no longer leading the drivers championship....looking forward to them losing out on the constructors soon :)

I'd have been surprised if Ferrari didn't lodge a complaint if the roles had been reversed...based on their position on track at the time and what they would have described as a novice error probably. Who knows, it looked like a simple drivers mistake, but maybe there was a patch of damp that all the other drivers avoided that time round except him.

BTW, I'm still amazed at the qualifying...first and third places separated by 500ths of a second.

Kimi made a mistake no ifs or buts. He isnt going to put it into the back of someone and loose championship points.

Its unlucky but that the nature of the beast.

Looking over Kimi's career he has been hampered by lesser teams more then he has hampered them

Good to see Kubica doing well yet again...I love his agressive style.

I was quite impressed with Hamiltons pace though.....about 38-39 secs ahead of no2/3 mid part of the race......thats real pace of the driver, not just the car.

Personally not much of a fan on schumi but cant help think that it would have been another ferrari win had he been behind the wheel.....that german was a good driver.

Wow what a race (just watched it on Sky+ as I've been fixing wrecked guttering after last nights high winds).

Well done McLaren for turning a potential disaster into a good solid win. :)

Gutted for Sutil and the whole FI team though - Tony will be fuming. :(

Lets see what (if anything) the stewards do about it.
